Just saw some truly horrible news coming out of Surat . A massive road accident near Uva-Manekpor village in Bardoli taluka on June 2,2026 has left so many people dead and injured .
The whole incident involved two Maharashtra State Transport buses and one tractor . And apparently it turned into this huge fiery wreck that completely shut down the highway for hours. It’s just unimaginable .
According to reports,one bus was going from Dhule to Surat when it first hit a tractor . After that impact,the driver must have lost all control because the bus then went across the central divider.
And this is where things became complete catastrophe .
The bus slammed head-on into another ST bus which was coming from opposite direction . One of the vehicles then overturned and just immediately burst into flames. The photos must be so difficult to see ah.
This made rescue work extremely hard for the fire brigade and police who rushed to the spot .
Few things standing out from this tragedy:
- Seven people are confirmed dead with 15 others injured .
- The accident involved two buses and one tractor,leading to a major fire.
- Highway movement was completely halted for many hours.
In total,there were around 60 passengers travelling in both buses . Witnesses said it was just a chaotic scene,with one of the burning buses even rolling down an embankment. The survivors are now being treated in local hospitals.
And tbh,the worst part is that authorities are worried the death toll might go even higher . Because several people are still in critical condition.
Gujarat police has started a formal investigation into how this happened . The initial theory is that the crash with the tractor was main trigger,but they are still doing a full analysis of the vehicles.
Right now officials are just trying to identify all the victims and somehow get the news to their families . It's just a heartbreaking situation all around… thinking about all those families waiting for a phone call…
