So English actress Lily James has come out strongly against ghosting and honestly,I am here for it . She called it one of the most "disgusting" habits in modern dating and I think many people would agree .
She was speaking on Deadline.com’s Take Ten video series and she did not mince her words at all . According to her,anyone who just cuts off all communication without explanation should be “never allowed to date again.” A bit extreme maybe,but you can feel the frustration.
And her exact words were,“It’s so crazy,it happens all time,it’s so gross . Just write back. It’s so weird. Not that that comes from personal experience.” That last part made me laugh,but point is very valid ah.
And tbh,it’s just such a common thing now . People invest time,emotions and then suddenly just radio silence. It's not a small thing .
Lily James,who has been linked with people like Matt Smith and Michael Shuman before,talked about how vulnerable dating can be . Whether it's on apps or meeting in person,you are putting yourself out there. So getting ghosted feels extra bad .
