This whole Hanuman Beniwal vs Madan Rathore issue is not looking like normal political back-and-forth only . When one side is talking about social boycott and other side is saying this is unconstitutional,it becomes bigger than usual party fight.
Hanuman Beniwal,the National President of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and Member of Parliament from Nagaur,has strongly condemned call for social boycott given by Madan Rathore,the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) . And honestly,his reaction was quite sharp .
Beniwal called Rathore's remarks unconstitutional and violation of rule of law . He also said he will consult legal experts from both High Court and Supreme Court about possible legal action against such statements . This is not small thing ah,because once legal route comes in,political statement can become serious headache.
During media briefing,Beniwal said India runs under constitutional framework and even Khap Panchayats are not allowed to enforce social boycotts . His point was simple: if even such traditional bodies cannot do it,then how can BJP openly call for boycott and still claim democratic ground?
Few things standing out clearly here:
- BJP's unfulfilled promises — Beniwal highlighted BJP's failure to address issues like crime and unemployment since taking power.
- RLP's growing influence — Despite not having any MLAs in Assembly,Beniwal asserted that RLP has established itself as significant political force in Rajasthan.
- Legal repercussions anticipated — Beniwal indicated that legal action could follow against Rathore for his remarks.
And then Beniwal shifted attack toward governance also . He said public had initially supported BJP because people were angry with previous Congress government,especially over paper leaks and crime . But according to him,BJP has not delivered after coming to power .
He also raised issue of nearly 500 cows reportedly dying in Jaisalmer and questioned BJP's silence now,when same party used to protest on such matters while sitting in opposition . That contrast is what he is trying to underline again and again.
Beniwal also reminded people about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's promise to act strongly against the "paper leak mafia" . He questioned why there have been no major arrests in related cases since BJP came to power,and linked it with rising crime and unemployment in Rajasthan .
And tbh,this is where political argument starts touching public frustration . Crime,unemployment,paper leaks,cow deaths,police action… these are not just speech points for people living through them.
On Rathore's comments,Beniwal again said he is taking legal advice and also spoke about ongoing agitation at Bhairana Dham . He accused government of trying to politicize movement but failing,while saying RLP will support saints involved in agitation and condemn police actions against RLP supporters.
Beniwal ended by saying RLP will not be intimidated by current ruling establishment and will keep speaking for public interest . But real question is,will this stay as political noise or actually move into court and street-level confrontation…
