BJP is again going into big outreach mode, and this time it is around upcoming twelfth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government on June 7 . And honestly, whenever party launches such campaign,it is never just celebration only,it is also message-building.
This new initiative has been named "Brotherhood Program" (Bhaichara Karyakram),and it will run from June 5 to 21 . BJP is presenting it as campaign around unity, public service, development, welfare, trust and progress. Big words, yes, but political timing also matters ah .
And from June 8 and 12,there will be media interactions where Union Ministers,Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states, and senior BJP leaders will talk about government performance over past twelve years . They are expected to focus on poverty alleviation, farmer welfare, and women's empowerment, which BJP says have changed things for nation .
Few main things planned in this campaign:
- "Freedom Campaigns" and "Progress Path Journeys" will be organised to connect with citizens.
- Public Welfare Camp in Nashik will run from June 12 to 20 for enrolling citizens in key government schemes.
- "One Tree for Mother" initiative will be launched on World Environment Day with environmental theme.
But tbh, this is also clearly about taking government story directly to people before others define it. BJP leaders will go into Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies from June 8 to 14,meeting citizens and talking about development initiatives and welfare schemes.
There will also be exhibitions showing scientific advancements and workshops on natural farming . Special teams have been made at state and district levels so campaign can reach educational institutions and use social media properly.
And this part is interesting because BJP is not calling it just anniversary celebration. Party wants to show it as public trust exercise, almost like saying past twelve years are proof of future direction .
At same time, people will judge such campaigns not by slogans, but by what they personally feel in daily life . Welfare schemes, farmer issues, women's safety, jobs, prices… all these things come back into discussion only.
So yes,"Brotherhood Program" (Bhaichara Karyakram) may look like unity and service campaign on paper, but real question is how much of it feels genuine to public once leaders start going door to door…
