This Delhi drug case is honestly quite unsettling because accused was not some unknown first-time name . Police say Meena (also known as Meenu),a 40-year-old woman from Kishanganj in Karol Bagh,was caught again after recently getting bail in previous narcotics case earlier this month.
And on May 30 ,Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) of Delhi Police apprehended her during operation in INA Colony . From her possession,police recovered over 112.32 grams of heroin,which is not small thing ah.
Authorities were already watching Meena because they had credible intelligence about her alleged involvement in supply of synthetic drugs,specifically smack/heroin . So this was not random checking kind of thing,it looks like police were tracking movements before making final move .
Police then set up trap near Tyagraj Stadium ,and intercepted her when she was allegedly trying to deliver narcotics to local consumers . And tbh,this part shows how quickly someone can slip back into same network even after bail.
Few things standing out in this case:

- Under surveillance prior to arrest — police monitored her activities based on credible inputs.
- Investigation into drug network — efforts underway to trace connections within the drug supply chain .
During operation,the seized substance was tested using Narcotic Field Testing Kit . Police say test confirmed it was heroin,after which case was registered under FIR No. 106/2026,under Section 21 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Kotla Mubarak Pur .
The operation was led by Inspector Umesh Yadav under supervision of Arvind Kumar,Additional DCP (Operations) of South District . DCP South District Anant Mittal,IPS,also commended team for their efforts in apprehending Meena and disrupting part of drug supply chain in Delhi .
But real question is bigger than one arrest only . If accused had just come out on bail and allegedly resumed peddling so fast,then how deep is this network running around local consumers and suppliers…
Police say investigation is now focusing on her wider connections in drug supply chain . And until those links come out clearly,this case feels like one small window into much larger problem hiding in plain sight…
