Key Takeaways

  • Cyberabad police arrest three in land scam case
  • Fake documents used to sell government land
  • Former MLA implicated and absconding in case

One massive land scam case has now come out from Cyberabad and honestly,₹1,500 crore government land matter is not small thing ah . This is not some tiny fake paper issue,it is about land in Gandipet being allegedly shown as if it can be sold privately.

According to police, three people have been arrested in this case,Nimmala Rajesh Goud,Nimmala Venugopal, and Nimmala Sai Kiran . They are accused of fabricating government orders to misrepresent ownership of government land.

Whole thing reportedly came out after Srinivas Reddy,a Tahsildar from Gandipet Mandal, complained about fake government orders being circulated on social media . These documents allegedly claimed that government land had been regularized for private sale .

And tbh, this is where matter becomes even more serious. Police say accused created five forged government order copies and used them as part of their fraud activity . Fake paper becoming base for selling land worth approximately ₹1,500 crore is scary only.

Few things standing out clearly in this case:

  • Police seized bank documents, mobile phones, and a laptop during searches.
  • Former YSR Congress Party MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu has been named in case and is currently on run.
  • Investigation has revealed alleged criminal conspiracy involving multiple parties to illegally sell government land .

Investigators say accused claimed control over approximately 10 acres of government land in Survey No.18,even though they had no legal ownership or rights . That part is very direct, because if ownership itself is not there, then how land sale talks reached this level?

The Nimmala family had earlier tried to push their claims in High Court, but their petitions were dismissed in October 2025 . Still, police say they allegedly went ahead and planned to sell land at ₹3.5 crore per acre.

And then there is money angle also . Police have indicated that Nimmala family received nearly ₹4 crore from their dealings, which makes whole case more tangled now.

Authorities are still looking for more suspects linked to this scam, including Bolla Brahma Naidu and others who are presently evading capture . But bigger question is,how did fake government orders travel so freely on social media and almost turn government land into private sale property…
