This Ghaziabad case is honestly very disturbing because victim was just 17-year-old . A school student losing life after argument with friend is not small thing ah,and now whole matter has reached political level also .
On May 30,2026,Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya spoke about murder of Surya Chauhan in Khoda Colony,Ghaziabad . He said state government will take strict action and made one very direct statement: "Whoever the murderer may be, he will not be spared."
Surya Chauhan was Class XI student at a private school and people in his community reportedly knew him as good boy . His family is devastated now,especially his mother and sister who are demanding strict legal action against accused.
As per case details,Surya was allegedly stabbed by a friend during argument . Later he succumbed to injuries,and that is where this whole incident became even more painful because one fight has now destroyed one family completely.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Three suspects arrested — Farhan,Asif,and Nawab have been apprehended by police.
- Main accused remains at large — Asad is currently absconding.
- Community demands justice — residents and local leaders are raising safety concerns .
An FIR has been lodged based on complaint from Surya's elder brother,Yash . After that,police took swift action and arrested three individuals named in FIR,identified as Farhan,Asif,and Nawab.
But main accused Asad is still not caught rn,and police teams are conducting raids to arrest him . This part is making people more angry because family wants full justice,not half action.
Local BJP leader Danish Azad Ansari said investigation is underway and government is committed to maintaining law and order . Reena Bhati also said community must come together to support justice and ensure safety for all.
And tbh,this is where bigger fear comes in . If young student can be killed like this in local area after argument,then parents will obviously worry about safety of their children every single day.
Government has promised that all responsible people will be brought to justice,but Surya's family is still waiting,community is still angry,and Asad is still absconding…
