This NEET-UG paper leak fight has now turned into full political slugfest only . And honestly,what Sudhanshu Trivedi said about Rahul Gandhi shows BJP is not planning to take Congress attacks quietly at all.
Sudhanshu Trivedi,a prominent spokesperson for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and member of Rajya Sabha,launched sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during press briefing on May 29,2026 . Main allegation was that Rahul Gandhi intentionally misquoted Solicitor General Tushar Mehta in matter linked to National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduation (NEET-UG) paper leak .
According to Trivedi,Rahul Gandhi removed important context from what Solicitor General said in court . Trivedi claimed Mehta had said Prime Minister Modi is personally concerned about and supervising the "Paper Leak Issue." But as per Trivedi,Rahul left out word "Issue" and that changed meaning of whole statement.
And tbh,this is where politics becomes very messy . One word gets removed,and suddenly both sides start accusing each other of misleading public.
Trivedi also posted on X and wrote,"The problem with Rahul Gandhi is that, until now,he was unable to comprehend the 'Issue'; now, he is unable to even read the word 'Issue' itself." That is not mild criticism ah,that is direct personal attack .
Few things standing out clearly in this whole exchange:
- Modi's vigilance on NEET matters — Trivedi asserted that Modi government is taking the NEET paper leak very seriously.
- Political tensions rising — The exchange highlights increasing friction between the BJP and Congress over educational integrity .

But Trivedi did not stop there . He reportedly called Rahul Gandhi's behaviour "clueless,issueless,and shameless" and accused opposition of "low-level shamelessness" for selectively editing statements to build misleading narrative.
He also recited one Hindi verse aimed at Gandhi,basically saying Congress party which Mahatma Gandhi built through hard work and dedication has been reduced to ashes under Rahul Gandhi . Strong words,and clearly meant to hit emotional nerve also,not just political point .
At same time,NEET-UG examination irregularities are still serious issue for students across India . Union government has repeatedly assured strict action against those involved in paper leak,while opposition keeps accusing government of failing to manage crisis affecting countless students .
And now with BJP countering Congress aggressively and both parties preparing for upcoming electoral battles,this whole NEET matter is no longer just about exam fairness . It is becoming another political battlefield,and somewhere in middle,students are still waiting to know what happens next…
