So political activity is really heating up in Bihar rn with elections for 10 Legislative Council seats coming up on June 18 . And of course,Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has already started the strategy meetings at his Patna residence .
This was big meeting with key Janata Dal (United) leaders . They were all there discussing who to pick as candidates and how to share seats inside ruling coalition. It looks like the party wants to make sure they have everything sorted out before the polls.
And one name that's coming up lot is Health Minister Nishant Kumar . He is apparently seen as very prominent contender for one of JD(U) seats. But at same time,other party members are also in race,so it's getting competitive inside party only .
And honestly,this is where things get interesting for political watchers.
Another person who seems very confident is Vidyanand Vikal,who was former Chairman of the Bihar State Food Commission . He came out of the meeting and sounded very optimistic about his own chances after talking to senior leaders. This just shows how much internal discussion and lobbying must be happening.

And Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary also made it clear that JD(U) has not finalized anything yet,not the number of seats or candidates . He said they will announce it when decision is made .
The clock is ticking though,because not just ruling NDA,but opposition parties are also doing their own internal talks to finalize their candidate lists soon .
So now everyone is just waiting to see who actually gets the ticket . All this discussion is one thing,but the final list is what will show the party's real strategy… and who has more influence inside.
