This accident from Madhubani,Bihar is honestly very painful to read because three people died on spot and two others are still fighting serious injuries . One normal road journey near Ganesh Chowk turned into complete tragedy on May 30,2026 .
The incident happened in Padma Panchayat area, under Ladaniya Police Station . As per Anup Kumar, the Station House Officer at Ladaniya, two motorcycles were reportedly moving at high speeds and collided head-on near Ganesh Chowk . Impact was so bad that all three riders died instantly at scene.
And this is not small thing ah. In rural roads, people often think speed is manageable because traffic feels less, but one wrong moment and there is no second chance.
Among deceased was Sachin Kumar Kamat, who was travelling from Kumarkhat to Jaynagar . Other motorcycle had couple Rajan Nadaf and his wife,Rokso Khatun, who were going to their in-laws' home in Ladaniya . Just normal family movement only, and then everything finished in seconds.
Few things standing out clearly in this accident:
- Three people died in head-on motorcycle collision near Ganesh Chowk on May 30,2026.
- Injured Sujit Kumar Kamat and Karan Kumar were rushed to Sub-Divisional Hospital.
- Families decided not to file FIRs or allow post-mortems.
After crash, local residents quickly informed police and injured victims were taken to Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment . But because their condition was serious, doctors referred them to bigger facility in Darbhanga for advanced care.
The injured have been identified as Sujit Kumar Kamat, son of Shridev Kamat, and 18-year-old Karan Kumar from Ramakht . Their condition being serious makes whole situation even heavier for families already dealing with shock.
And then came one surprising part. Families of deceased mutually decided they did not want legal action . They gave written applications to police saying no First Information Report (FIR) should be registered and post-mortem examinations should not be done . Police completed necessary legal formalities and handed over bodies for last rites.
Honestly, this part shows how grief sometimes works differently in close communities. From outside people may ask why no FIR,why no post-mortem,but families standing there with bodies of loved ones may just want last rites and silence .
But bigger question is still hanging there. How many more such rural road accidents will happen before reckless high-speed riding is taken seriously…
