Just heard some very shocking news coming from Jaipur's Manoharpur area . A prominent BJP leader,Ramavatar Aswal, was found dead and the circumstances are looking very, very bad .
His family is saying straight up that he was murdered . And honestly, when you hear details,it’s hard to disagree. He was found lying in pool of blood inside his own scrap warehouse on night of June 1 .
Reports are saying his throat had been slit . That’s not a small thing ah. It points to some very personal and brutal kind of violence.
And this is where the whole community is now getting involved. Family and villagers gathered outside the police station demanding immediate arrests . People are angry and they want answers quickly.
Local police, led by SHO Surendra Singh, have started their investigation . They’ve called in the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to collect evidence and the body was sent to NIMS Hospital for post-mortem . They are saying they are checking CCTV footage also.
Few things standing out clearly right now:
- Aswal was former Mandal President of party's Scheduled Caste Morcha,so not a minor figure .
- He was found by his own family after he didn’t come home from his warehouse .
- The public anger is huge, with protests demanding police take swift action .
Apparently, someone had visited Aswal at his warehouse that night only . When he didn't return home for long time, his family got worried and went to check on him. And that's when they found him in that horrible condition. They rushed him to hospital, but he was pronounced dead.
This whole thing has really shaken up the local community . People are expressing disbelief and sorrow, and there is a lot of pressure on the police to solve this case fast .
But police have only given assurances that they are working diligently . For family and villagers, that is not enough rn. They want the culprit caught.
It just feels so unsafe when something like this happens to a known person in your own area . You start to wonder who could have done this and why… a political rivalry? A business deal gone wrong? The police are checking CCTV,but who knows what that will show...
