The whole Zubeen Garg case is just getting more and more complicated ah. Now the news is that his manager,Siddhartha Sarma,has bail plea hearing coming up on June 4,2026 .
This is happening after a fast-track court already denied his bail earlier . And the court apparently considered the allegations against him to be very serious. Sarma is being called the prime accused in the investigation around Garg's death,which is still so shocking to everyone.
The death itself happened under such questionable circumstances on September 19,2025 . He was swimming near Lazarus Island in Singapore,and then this tragedy happened. The case has created huge public outcry across Assam,with so many people just demanding justice.
And tbh,this is where situation gets very confusing.
The courts seem to be taking this very seriously . Legal experts are saying that denying bail earlier was because the investigation is at a critical stage,and releasing him could mess with the whole probe.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:

But biggest issue is different conclusions from different investigations . A Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Assam Police's CID has been investigating and even filed a charge sheet in December 2025 . They named seven individuals,with four facing actual murder charges .
At same time,a parallel investigation in Singapore concluded there was no evidence of foul play at all . And Assam officials have made it clear that Singapore's findings won't affect their case.
So you have two different official versions of same incident . How is that even possible… makes you wonder what the real truth is…
