This Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust issue is now becoming very uncomfortable, especially because it involves public faith, donations and offerings made in name of Lord Ram . And honestly, when allegations touch temple assets like gold and diamond ornaments, people are obviously going to ask hard questions.
Kolanukonda Shivaji, the vice-president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress, has raised serious concerns over alleged financial irregularities linked to Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust . Reports circulating over past fortnight have claimed that donations and offerings at temple may have been mishandled.
And this is not small matter ah,because temple is sacred site for many Hindus . When devotees give money, ornaments or valuables, they are doing it with full faith that everything will be protected properly.
Shivaji has called for thorough judicial investigation after claims that valuable assets, including gold and diamond ornaments meant for Lord Ram,were improperly diverted . He also pointed out that chairman of Ram Mandir Construction Committee,Nripendra Misra, has acknowledged these irregularities.
Few things standing out clearly here:
- Shivaji says only a sitting judge can ensure fair investigation into these allegations.
- He wants stronger system like Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to safeguard temple donations .
- He also demanded clarity on disappearance of around 200 kg of gold linked to Kedarnath temple.
What makes matter even more serious is that former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has also echoed similar allegations . Reported value of misappropriated assets is said to be in realm of hundreds of crores of rupees, which is not something people will just ignore quietly.
And tbh,Shivaji’s warning about powerful people escaping by shifting blame onto subordinates feels like real concern . In many such cases, small officials get blamed while bigger decision-makers stay untouched.
He has also urged Hindu religious organizations and community leaders to unite and demand accountability from government . That part matters because without public pressure, these issues often get buried under politics and statements.
But at same time, this whole thing needs clean facts, not just political shouting . If irregularities really happened, people deserve transparent investigation, and if not, then doubts should be cleared properly… because faith once shaken is not easy to repair…
