That is not small thing ah.
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is now putting pressure on Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, asking him to take back his recent controversial remarks related to death of Sai Krishna . Party side is clearly saying those comments were not acceptable in such serious matter .
During press briefing at YSRCP headquarters in Tadepalli,T.J.R . Sudhakar Babu,President of the State SC Cell, condemned Pawan Kalyan's comments as irresponsible . His point was that such remarks weaken seriousness around Sai Krishna's alleged custodial death.
And honestly, this is where matter becomes uncomfortable . Because when death in custody is being discussed, people expect straight answers, not political counter-attacks or public statements that create more confusion.
YSRCP is also alleging that state government may be trying to divert public attention from ongoing investigation into Sai Krishna's death and later suicide of Kranti Kumar . Sudhakar Babu pushed for transparency and accountability regarding police personnel involved in these cases, and asked for thorough and impartial legal inquiry .
Few things standing out in this issue:
- YSRCP wants Pawan Kalyan to withdraw his statements .
- Party is asking for clarity on police involvement in Sai Krishna's death.
- YSRCP is warning against politicizing tragedy for electoral gain.
Sudhakar Babu also defended YSRCP President Y.S . Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Sai Krishna's family . He said that visit was only expression of solidarity with grieving family, not some political maneuver . And tbh,in cases like this, even sympathy visit becomes political debate very fast.
YSRCP says it will keep pushing for justice for Sai Krishna's family until accountability is achieved . Party is clearly trying to keep this issue alive in public discussion, especially because police role and government response are both under question rn.
But bigger question is still hanging there . Was this case handled with full transparency,or is political noise slowly covering main issue of what happened to Sai Krishna and Kranti Kumar…
