So BJP is having this big review meeting in national capital right now . They are apparently looking back at their performance over last 12 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This whole meeting is happening at party headquarters and seems like serious affair . It started around 2:30 PM and is expected to go on late into night.
And during this,Lok Sabha MP and spokesperson Sambit Patra spoke to media . He said progress under Modi government is visible to everyone. He also made big point that BJP,either by itself or with NDA allies,is running government in 22 states .
That number is huge ah. 22 states is almost entire country.
Patra was saying that government has done a lot but BJP as party has also grown massively . He reminded everyone how party has gone from just two members of Parliament to this huge political force it is today.
And tbh, this is the core message they always push .
He also gave a lot of credit to party's karyakartas, calling them rare assets and essential for the party's success . This is their way of motivating ground-level workers I think .
Few things they are focusing on in this meeting:
- Strengthening their presence and connections at local level
- Onboarding more youth and empowering women
- Evolving further as major political force through strategic expansion
They are also saying that a big transformation in BJP’s organizational working is expected under current President Nitin Nabin . Plus, they want to create more opportunities for professionals to join and grow within party structure .
It’s clear they are not just satisfied with where they are . This meeting feels less like a celebration of past 12 years and more like a strategy session for next 12 years… what are they planning for next?
