This case is already getting lot of attention,and honestly,it is not hard to see why . Bandi Bhageerath,the son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar,is scheduled to be presented before trial court in Malkajgiri today in connection with ongoing investigation under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
And matter has become even more serious because this is not just normal questioning anymore . Bhageerath has already gone through three days of questioning by Special Investigation Team (SIT),which has been looking into case since it was registered on May 8 .
The SIT is being led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Ritiraj,and police are said to be collecting evidence including digital records . In cases like this,digital trail,witness statements and timeline become very important ah,because every small detail can change direction of investigation.
Bhageerath was arrested on May 16 . After that,he was first kept at Cherlapally Central Prison before being taken into police custody for questioning . His medical examination was also conducted at Osmania General Hospital before interrogation started.

Police have already recorded statements from victim and other people connected to case . These statements are going to matter a lot when trial process moves ahead,because allegations are serious and case comes under POCSO Act.
But there is also another layer here . After arrest,Bandi Sanjay claimed that his son surrendered to police . At same time,law enforcement officials have indicated that Bhageerath admitted to offense,which makes whole narrative more complicated.
