Indian men's U-18 hockey team had tough outing against hosts Japan,and honestly,2-4 defeat in Pool A fixture of U-18 Asia Cup 2026 will sting a bit . Not because India did not fight,but because match kept giving hope and then taking it away again .

Then in 42nd minute,Takahashi Aone scored field goal and Japan stretched lead to 4-2 . After that,India had to chase game again,and against disciplined Japanese side,that becomes very difficult .
