So the trailer for Cocktail 2 is finally out and honestly,the buzz is quite real . With Shahid Kapoor,Rashmika Mandanna,and Kriti Sanon together,this cast is looking very interesting .
Shahid Kapoor sounds really happy with how it turned out . He said,"Cocktail 2 is what summer feels like. It has madness,emotion,humor,romance,and a lot of heart." He feels it’s a movie you need to watch with friends,which I think is the whole point of such films .
And Kriti Sanon added her own perspective,saying the film feels stylish and visually fresh but also relatable and modern at same time . Her quote was nice,"The relationships are messy,warm,and real in their own way. characters are beautifully flawed,and the film is a toast to friendship and love from today’s lens."
That "beautifully flawed" part is what I'm hoping for . Perfect characters are so boring ah.
Rashmika Mandanna also mentioned how it's about love,friendship,and all those emotions that come with life's journey . She said,"The trailer really captures warmth and fun spirit of Diya,Ally,and Kunal." Everyone seems to be on same page about the vibe of film.
But for me,the director Homi Adajania's words really explain the story . He said,"This is a story about people trying to do the right thing while their hearts have other plans. Funny,messy,emotional,and little reckless." This sounds like proper drama is coming.

- The release is set for June 19,making it a perfect summer outing movie.
- It’s all about modern love and friendship,which is what the original was known for.
Kriti also praised the music,saying it takes the film to another level . For a movie like this,the music has to be hit only,otherwise the whole feel goes away.
The whole team is pushing it as this big,fun,roller coaster ride of a story . And the trailer definitely has that vibrant celebration of friendship and love feel to it.
