This whole Omar Abdullah meeting buzz is getting little too dramatic now . One NC MLAs meeting on June 3 and suddenly everyone seems to be reading secret meaning into it,even people who clearly don't know what is actually going to happen.
And Omar Abdullah,Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir,did not exactly stay quiet on this. His line was pretty sharp: “I love how the people who know least about meeting I've called with my MLAs are talking the most.” Honestly,that sounds like direct frustration with all political guesswork going around.
Basically,he is saying people who really know agenda are not the ones making noise outside . And those speaking most loudly are mostly opposition people and observers guessing from outside only .
But this is politics in Jammu and Kashmir,so one internal NC meeting also becomes big discussion point . With governance,statehood restoration and relationship between elected government and Centre already being talked about,any meeting like this will naturally attract attention .
Few things standing out clearly here:
- Omar Abdullah has called National Conference (NC) MLAs for meeting on June 3.
- He dismissed outside speculation and said agenda is internal matter for NC legislators.
- Meeting comes while statehood restoration and governance debates are still going on .
And tbh,the interesting part is that no official agenda has been disclosed . That silence itself is adding more curiosity,even if Abdullah is trying to say there is nothing for outsiders to decode right now.
His earlier post-Eid comments also did not help calm things down. When he spoke about possible future developments like a "cloudburst" of announcements,people obviously started connecting dots with this June 3 meeting .
But now he seems to be pulling things back a little,almost saying,relax,this is internal party discussion,not public show . Still,in politics,such comments sometimes reduce speculation and sometimes increase it more ah .
At same time,NC will obviously have to discuss its own strategy,especially when bigger questions around Jammu and Kashmir's future are still hanging . What exactly comes out of June 3 meeting is something people are still trying to guess…
And maybe that is exactly what Omar Abdullah is annoyed about .
