Lucknow is seeing big religious-cultural gathering from today, and honestly, this kind of event naturally pulls attention in city . Jagadguru Rambhadracharya has started nine-day Shri Ram Katha at Brij Ki Rasoi premises on Sitapur Road, and mood around it already feels quite charged with devotion.
The Katha will continue until June 9 . Organisers are expecting devotees in large numbers, and even public figures may attend, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has shown interest in coming .
And this is not being presented as just one religious programme only . Main idea is to spread teachings of Lord Ram and also talk about Indian cultural values, family traditions, moral values and social harmony through discourses.
CM Adityanath had recently released event poster also, which was inspired by architectural beauty of Ayodhya's Ram Temple . That gesture itself shows how much official attention this gathering is getting.
Few things planned around Shri Ram Katha:
- Each day will focus on different episode from Lord Ram's life, including his birth, marriage to Sita, and eventual coronation.
- Special rituals like Kalash Yatra and Guru Vandana are part of programme.
- Mahaprasad will be offered to devotees at conclusion of Katha.
On first day,the programme includes Kalash Yatra and Guru Vandana . That sets spiritual tone from beginning itself, and for many devotees, this is not small thing ah.
In coming days,Katha will move through major parts of Ramayan story, from appearance of Mata Sita to Ravana's abduction of her . Final day is expected to be more grand, with burning of Lanka,Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya, and feast meant to show community feeling and devotion.
And tbh, what makes this event more special for many people is presence of Jagadguru Rambhadracharya himself . Despite facing visual challenges,he is respected across India for work in education, literature and spirituality.
His body of work includes over 250 books on Indian philosophy and culture, which is honestly a huge contribution . So when such figure speaks on Lord Ram,people don't just hear story, they connect it with values, faith and identity also.
But at same time, these large religious events always raise one quiet question too — how much of this message of harmony and moral values actually stays with society after crowd goes home…
