Some really big announcements coming out from Madhya Pradesh Cabinet recently . Looks like they are trying to push some major initiatives for rural people .
The biggest one seems to be about land ownership under SVAMITVA scheme . They are planning to give registered title deeds to 48 lakh villagers. This is a huge thing ah . For many families,this means they can finally get loans and so many land disputes can be reduced.
And the state is taking on the cost for this . According to MSME minister Chetanya Kumar Kashyap,the government will spend over ₹3,800 crore to make sure these title deeds are given free to everyone who is eligible. No cost for the beneficiaries.
Honestly,this is where things get really impactful . Having a proper document for your land is not small thing,it gives economic stability .
But that's not all . They are also changing how school uniforms are given . cabinet has decided to stop the Direct Benefit Transfer system for uniforms because it was not working well in remote tribal and rural areas.
Instead,the School Education Department will now provide stitched uniforms directly to students from grades one to eight . This should hopefully mean better quality and timely delivery for kids.
Few things standing out clearly from this meeting:

- Direct provision of stitched uniforms — Replacing cash transfers for students in grades one through eight .
- Healthcare boost with ₹17,000 crore — Continued investment in medical education and infrastructure.
And they are also putting a lot of money into healthcare . The cabinet approved continuing three schemes for medical colleges with a budget of ₹17,000 crore . This money is for building new medical colleges and increasing postgraduate seats.
Tbh,this is a long term investment that is very much needed . More doctors and better medical infra is always a good goal.
Also saw a mention of the District Court building in Indore,which has a revised project cost of ₹626 crore now .
All these moves look good on paper,very positive steps for sure . But the real challenge is always in execution,making sure benefits actually reach the last person without delays or problems…
