This is very worrying news coming from Uttarkashi ah,where a woman trekker has gone missing on the Dayara Bugyal route. And now the search for her has become a really big operation .
The situation seems quite serious because District Magistrate Prashant Arya is personally supervising everything from Disaster Smart Control Room . Reports say he has directed officials to use every single resource available to find her as quickly as possible.
And honestly,this is where things get uncomfortable. When such high-level officials get directly involved,it means the situation is critical .
During his visit to control room,he took updates on how search is going and what challenges teams are facing on ground. The terrain there is not easy at all. He has insisted on full coordination between all the different agencies.
And so many teams are involved rn . We are talking about Quick Response Team (QRT),the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF),and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) all working together.
Few things standing out here:
- Multiple agencies like NDRF and SDRF are doing joint search operations .
- The area is very rugged and has dense forests,making search very difficult.
- District Magistrate has ordered for continuous monitoring and regular updates .
But it doesn't stop there . Now,District Magistrate Arya has also called for help from Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and even the Indian Army . This is a massive escalation of the search mission .
The teams are combing through everything,trekking trails,forests,remote paths… everything in radius of about five kilometers from the Goi Camp towards Raithal area . But topography and thick vegetation are making it very tough for them.
The district administration has given assurance that rescue operation will not stop .
Still,you have to wonder . With so much manpower and so many agencies involved,the fact that she hasn't been found yet is what's really scary…
