Key Takeaways

  • Force Motors shares hit 52-week low
  • May sales drop 15.35% year-on-year
  • Company faces declining profitability and investor confidence

Just saw news on Force Motors and wow, things are looking really bad for them rn . Their stock hit a 52-week low on Tuesday and the numbers behind it are not pretty.

The main reason seems to be their May 2026 sales figures which are just terrible . huge 15.35% drop in total sales compared to last year, selling only 2,614 units. That's their lowest sales in 18 months.

And because of this, the stock on NSE just tanked by 5.93% to hit ₹17,782 per share . By afternoon it was trading around ₹17,931. Clearly investors are getting very nervous about this.

If you look deeper, the problem is everywhere . Domestic sales for their SCVs and SUVs fell by 14.72% to 2,560 units . But the export numbers are real shocker ah. A massive drop of 37.21%,they only shipped 54 units in the whole month.

And honestly, that export figure is where things get really uncomfortable.

This isn't just one bad month either . This trend was already visible . The company had reported a 36.30% drop in their profit for the March quarter of FY26,which was ₹273.67 crore . strange thing is their revenue from operations actually went up by 8.22% to ₹2,549.72 crore in that same period.

Few things standing out clearly here:

  • Stock hit a 52-week low of ₹17,782 after the disappointing sales report.
  • This follows a big 36.30% drop in profit reported for Q4 FY26.
  • Company has launched new Force Traveller N Range hoping to improve sales.

And in response to all this,Force Motors recently launched their new Force Traveller N Range . They are marketing it for delivery vans, ambulances, and school buses with things like a new cockpit and better NVH levels.

But you have to wonder,is one new vehicle range going to be enough to fix this big a slump? The sales numbers are weak across both domestic and international markets. Feels like a much bigger problem than one new model can solve…
