This Delhi Police Special Cell case is honestly quite disturbing because it is not looking like some random small module . Nine individuals have been arrested,and alleged links being drawn to Dawood Ibrahim and ISI make whole thing feel much more serious.
At centre of this case is Shehzad Bhatti,who investigators say has become main coordinator-type figure in this network . He was reportedly handling activities meant to destabilize India,and that is not small thing ah.
Police are saying Bhatti had been active for several months and was directing accused people to do reconnaissance across major cities,including Delhi and Mumbai . Just thinking about that part is uncomfortable because reconnaissance usually means someone is watching places quietly before bigger plan.

Officials also said people were recruited from Delhi,Pune and Punjab . A person from Nepal was detained too,allegedly for helping with financial support for this operation . That shows police are not looking at this as one-city problem only .
Another part which feels very 2020s is social media angle . Bhatti was allegedly using it for communication,recruitment and disinformation campaign . So it was not just about physical planning,but also trying to influence people and spread confusion online rn .
Police are also pointing to bigger pattern,saying ISI has been relying more on underworld networks since 2015 . They have referred to earlier module dismantled in Gujarat in 2015,where similar tactics were allegedly used to incite communal violence.
But current case looks wider because multiple cities across India were allegedly on radar . Delhi,Mumbai,Pune,Punjab,Nepal connection,Dawood Ibrahim name,ISI angle… too many layers in one story,and question is how much more is still hidden behind this…
