Delhi Police has officially denied party's request for extension to continue protest,and now whole thing looks more tense than before.
Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has said he will not leave site until education minister resigns over ongoing allegations of examination irregularities and paper leaks . And whether one agrees with him or not,this kind of stand always brings more heat,especially when students and exams are involved.
Police have increased security in area,with extensive crowd-control measures as demonstrators gathered for their second protest on June 20,2026 . Not small thing ah,because Jantar Mantar protests can shift mood very quickly if crowd keeps growing.

And while this protest drama was happening,another major development came from Mumbai . Sessions court acquitted all eight individuals accused in 2006 double murder of Pawanraje Nimbalkar,a former MLA,and his driver.
Court basically found that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) did not present credible evidence . Witness testimonies were seen as unreliable,and missing mobile phone records also weakened case badly . For families waiting since 2006,this kind of acquittal must feel very heavy.
After acquittal,Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to step in . Then CBI announced plans to challenge ruling in Bombay High Court . So this case is not ending here only.
At same time,National Testing Agency (NTA) clarified that NEET-UG aspirant from Nagpur had selected examination centre in Abu Dhabi through registered login . That explanation seems aimed at cooling down concerns around centre allocation,but exam-related trust issues are already running high .
Politics also kept moving in usual sharp way . BJP claimed Rahul Gandhi is losing support inside Congress party,citing comments by MP Shashi Tharoor that appeared to praise Prime Minister Modi . Congress party leaders,on other side,attacked BJP over economic mismanagement as inflation keeps rising and household savings are getting hit .
Then there is case of Bandi Sai Bageerath,son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar,who got interim bail to appear for his BBA exams amid ongoing POCSO allegations against him . And in Manipur,hundreds rallied for justice after killing of six Naga civilians,showing tensions there are still far from settled .
So many different stories in one day,but common feeling is same only,people are angry,trust is low,and every institution is being questioned from courts to exams to politics… where does this even calm down?
