This Piplani case is honestly very disturbing because it is not some random small theft story . A 25-year-old woman was allegedly forced by someone she knew to go out late night, withdraw money from ATM and then face assault also.
Incident reportedly happened around 2 AM on June 19,2026,when victim got call from accused . She apparently felt threatened and left her home, which itself tells how serious situation must have felt in that moment.
Police say accused is young man residing in Bajaria . He allegedly made her sit in his vehicle and drove her to Prabhat Square, where he forced her to withdraw ₹5,000 from ATM and hand over money directly to him.
And tbh, this is where whole thing becomes more scary . During ride, police reports indicate he assaulted woman also,so this was not just about money . It was fear, control and violence together.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Accused allegedly forced woman to withdraw ₹5,000 from ATM at Prabhat Square.
- Police reports say he assaulted her during ride.
- After incident,he snatched her phone and allegedly demanded ₹12,000 more to return it .
According to police station in-charge Chandrika Yadav, the victim works at private hospital . That detail makes case feel even more unsettling because many people working in hospitals and private jobs travel at odd hours only, and safety becomes real concern ah .
Police in Piplani are looking into case rn . But bigger question is also there, how did accused feel so confident to call her out at 2 AM,force her into vehicle, make her withdraw cash and then take phone also?
And yes, people will again talk about women’s safety at night, security in city and public spaces . But for victim, this is not debate topic,it is trauma she had to live through.
Such incidents make families scared even when someone steps out for work or emergency . One phone call, one known person, one late-night threat… and everything can turn dangerous suddenly…
