NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination in Visakhapatnam has now happened,and honestly,91.05% attendance is not small thing ah . After all stress around such exams,seeing students still turn up in such large numbers says lot.
The re-examination was held on June 21,2026 . Out of 8,015 registered candidates,total 7,298 appeared for test . That means many students clearly did not want to miss this chance,especially when medical admission dreams are involved.
Exam was conducted at 18 centers across district . District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore and Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari also personally inspected several centers,including Andhra University Arts College and Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2.
And tbh,this kind of official presence does matter in exams like NEET . Students already come with enough pressure in their head,so if basic arrangements are managed properly,at least one layer of tension gets reduced.
Few things standing out clearly here:
- Attendance was 91.05%,with 7,298 candidates appearing out of 8,015 registered .

Good part is that examination reportedly went smoothly,without any untoward incidents . In competitive exams,even small issue can create huge panic,so clean conduct matters a lot for students and parents both.
But at same time,behind this 91.05% number are thousands of nervous candidates,each carrying own pressure,own family expectations,own fear about result . Re-exam itself is never easy mentally,even if arrangements are fine.
Now focus will shift toward results and how these 7,298 candidates perform after everything they already went through . For many of them,this was not just another test,it was maybe one more shot at becoming doctor… and that waiting period now must be feeling very heavy.
