This case from Palamu,Jharkhand is honestly very disturbing because victim was not some unknown criminal type story,but a 45-year-old assistant teacher,Uday Singh,who people in area also knew for helping others medically when needed .
On May 29,his lifeless body was found in Chhatarpur police station area of Palamu . Uday Singh was resident of Chilho Khurd and police found him with throat slit,which immediately created anger and grief in local community .
And what makes whole thing more worrying is how he left home previous evening after getting phone call from an acquaintance . After that,he never came back. Family members got worried and started searching for him .
During search,his motorcycle was found parked along roadside on route to Patan,near Nagdara village . That itself must have created fear in family, because bike standing there and person missing is never normal ah.
Later,when area was checked properly,his body was found hidden in nearby bushes and soaked in blood . And honestly,this is where case becomes very dark.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Uday Singh was found with his throat slit,showing clear foul play .
- Police are checking call records and collecting evidence from scene.
- Locals are angry and grieving,with demand for quick arrests.
After getting information,Chhatarpur police reached spot and started investigation . They also found several liquor and beer bottles at site,which is making police suspect that Singh may have been called there under excuse of drinking session.
Authorities now believe some known person may be involved . Police are trying to identify person who made that phone call to Singh and are scanning call details from his mobile phone. People who were in touch with him before murder may also be questioned.
Forensic experts have also been brought in and police have collected several pieces of evidence from crime scene . Body has been sent for post-mortem examination. But for family and local people,this is not just investigation rn,it is about getting answers for why someone who taught children and helped people was killed like this…
And until police find who called him that evening and what really happened near those bushes,whole Palamu will keep asking same uncomfortable question… who was close enough to lure Uday Singh out of his home?
