Three people from same family gone in one crash, including two-year-old child, and one five-year-old girl now fighting through serious injuries . Not small thing ah .
Accident happened on June 19, 2026,near Hoskote on Hoskote–Devanahalli road . According to police,a BMTC bus allegedly collided with their motorcycle while travelling on its designated route.
Victims have been identified as Arun (35),his wife Anusha (32),and their daughter Hanya . All three were pronounced dead at scene . Their five-year-old daughter,Anushika, sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment in nearby hospital .
And this is where anger also comes in,because early police findings are pointing towards possible negligence by BMTC bus driver . Deputy Police Superintendent Mallesh has said investigation is ongoing, and early indications point to bus driver's negligence as primary factor in accident.
Witnesses reportedly said impact was severe . Because this was busy stretch, collision also led to significant traffic jam for several hours . Just imagining that scene itself feels heavy .
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Preliminary findings suggest negligence — Initial inquiries indicate that the BMTC bus driver may have been negligent, contributing to the tragic accident.
- Roadside parking issues addressed — Authorities have cleared parked vehicles along roadway to enhance safety and prevent future accidents.
- Community safety measures proposed — Local officials are discussing new regulations to manage parking near high-traffic areas .
But one more point police are looking at is roadside parking . Several lorries were reportedly parked along roadside, and those vehicles may have created visibility issues for bus driver . So now question is not just about one driver, but whole road safety setup there .
Police have also urged transport operators not to park vehicles in dangerous locations, especially near warehouse zones . Because honestly, these parked lorries on narrow or busy roads become silent danger only until something terrible happens .
Local government is expected to look at stricter roadside parking rules and better training for public transport drivers, especially BMTC buses . But for Arun,Anusha,Hanya and injured Anushika's family, all these steps are coming after unbearable loss.
And that is what stays in mind… how many warnings does one road need before people in charge actually treat safety like matter of life and death?
