This Don 3 situation is getting messy now,and Poonam Dhillon has reacted in way that honestly feels very human . Because beyond Ranveer Singh,Farhan Akhtar,Ritesh Sidhwani and big money talk, there are so many workers who can get hit badly in middle of all this.
In an exclusive interview with IANS,Poonam Dhillon said she was upset with how such disputes can affect people who are just trying to earn living in industry . Her line really stands out: "In egos,in fights,in issues, the needy people should not suffer,"
And that is actually main point here . Film industry is not just actors and producers only. There are technicians, spot boys, light workers, makeup teams, set workers and many others depending on daily work . If project stops or dispute gets bigger, they are first ones to feel pressure.
Whole controversy is around FWICE,the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, which recently imposed non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh . This came after producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani claimed they suffered losses of approximately ₹45 crore because of Singh's last-minute withdrawal from project.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- FWICE's directive against Ranveer Singh — response to alleged withdrawal from project.
- Financial claims of ₹45 crore — producers argue they suffered significant losses.
- Poonam Dhillon's advocacy — she calls for protecting those affected by industry disputes.
And tbh,₹45 crore is not small thing ah . If producers are saying they lost that much, then obviously matter becomes serious. But at same time,Dhillon's concern is that fights between big people should not freeze work for those who have no control over decisions.
Ranveer Singh's spokesperson also issued statement saying he respects film fraternity and believes professional matters should be handled with dignity . He has chosen to stay silent during ongoing discussion, and Poonam Dhillon called that mature approach.
But she again pushed same point, that industry leaders should think about people working behind scenes . Because when egos clash at top level, damage often comes down to workers who are not even part of fight.
Her comparison also felt strong, where she said in bigger conflicts like wars, common people suffer most . Same thing can happen in entertainment business also, just in different way . Big names fight, contracts break, projects pause… and regular workers are left waiting .
And honestly, this is where whole Don 3 issue becomes more than celebrity controversy . If every dispute starts affecting livelihoods of people around project, then who is actually paying real price here…
