Launched on May 17, 2022, the 1930 Cyber Helpline has become an essential resource for individuals affected by digital fraud. This helpline addresses a wide range of cybercrime complaints, including share trading scams, online task fraud, fake job offers, and phishing schemes. When a complaint is made, the helpline's officers rapidly coordinate with various stakeholders, including banks and digital wallets, to freeze suspected accounts. This quick response mechanism has proven effective, with a reported success rate of approximately 25.68% in freezing funds in time.
