Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's remarks against Jitu Patwari,President of State Congress, have created proper storm now.
Speaking at big gathering in Shujalpur,Yadav went directly after Patwari's leadership and used very sharp words . He said,"Whenever winds of development sweep across state, their 'do kaudi ka adhyaksh' (worthless president) goes around wailing in despair." Now whatever side people support, this kind of language from Chief Minister will obviously trigger reaction ah.
And he did not stop there . Mohan Yadav also claimed that Congress president should not be in situation where candidates are running away from his own constituency . Then he added,"You will find names like these — individuals who lose by a margin of forty thousand votes — only within the Congress party."
Few things standing out clearly in this political fight:
- Mohan Yadav attacked Jitu Patwari's leadership in Shujalpur.
- Jitu Patwari replied on X and questioned language used against him .
- Both BJP and Congress are already positioning themselves for 2028 elections.
But honestly, this looks less like normal criticism and more like personal-political attack now . BJP is trying to show Congress as weak and confused, while Congress is trying to turn same attack into farmer pride issue.
Jitu Patwari's reply on X was also very sharp . He asked,"You called me 'do Kaudi ka',you called me insignificant… So,are sons of farmers truly worthless in your eyes?" That line was clearly aimed at making this not just about him,but about farmers and common people of Madhya Pradesh .
And then Patwari brought in Atal Bihari Vajpayee also, reminding Mohan Yadav that even former Prime Minister had faced electoral defeats . His point was simple — losing election does not make leader worthless . In politics, this kind of counter works because it uses BJP's own respected name back at them.
Patwari also made big 2028 promise, saying,"Yes,I take a pledge once again! In 2028, a government ‘of’ the sons of farmers — ‘of’ people of Madhya Pradesh — will definitely be formed,100%!" Tbh,this is clearly campaign language now,not just social media reply.
And now whole exchange has gone viral, with BJP and Congress both using it to attack each other on governance, development and respect . One side says Congress has failed leadership, other side says BJP is insulting farmers' sons . Same statement, completely different meaning depending on which side is speaking.
But bigger question is,this kind of aggressive politics will actually help anyone or just make atmosphere more bitter before 2028…
