This Jalgaon car theft chase honestly sounds like one of those scenes where police get one tip,and suddenly whole road turns tense . A stolen Kia Carens worth ₹9 lakh,high-speed chase,and then arrest of driver… not small thing ah.
On June 19, 2026,Jalgaon Police acted after getting alert from Bopal Police about vehicle entering Jalgaon side . This same Kia Carens had reportedly been stolen from jurisdiction of Bopal Police Station in Gujarat on April 15,2026.
And after that tip-off,Jalgaon Traffic Branch set up blockade at Kashinath Chowk . Police spotted car there and signaled driver to stop,but instead of stopping,driver allegedly tried to escape towards Ajanta Junction.
That is when chase started.
Police followed vehicle at high speed and finally managed to intercept it . Driver was caught and taken into custody,while car was later moved to MIDC Police Station after confirmation that it was linked to theft case.

After legal process,vehicle was handed over to Gujarat police . Authorities also informed Bhopal and Ahmedabad rural police stations about development,which shows this case had wider coordination angle also.
But one thing is clear from this whole episode,Jalgaon Police moved fast once information came in . From blockade at Kashinath Chowk to chase towards Ajanta Junction,everything seems to have happened quickly.
