Nitin Nabin,President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),is set to hold meeting with party's State unit Presidents on June 1 at party's Delhi headquarters,and timing is not casual at all.
This is coming just before Rajya Sabha elections scheduled for June 18 . So obviously,this meeting is not just routine chai-biscuit type discussion. Party seems to be tightening messaging,coordination and internal discipline before voting.
As per report,Nabin is expected to pass on strategic messages from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to party's top brass . Main stress seems to be on showing united front,especially when these elections can impact party's strength across legislative bodies .
And honestly,this is where internal party management becomes very interesting . Elections are not only fought outside with rallies and speeches,they are also fought inside meeting rooms where state units are told what line to take and how strongly to push it .
