C.P. Radhakrishnan’s three-day tour from May 29 to May 31 looks quite packed ah. Karnataka,Goa,and Kerala in one stretch is not small schedule,and this visit seems to be mixing official work,cultural events,education,industry and even spiritual stops together .
And from May 29 itself,India’s Vice President will start with Bengaluru,Karnataka where he will participate in global celebration marking 45 years of the Art of Living Foundation . That event itself will be big because Art of Living Foundation has long public presence,so his attendance is clearly not just routine .
After that,he is also set to attend Platinum Jubilee celebrations of University BDT College of Engineering in Davangere,Karnataka . Education events like this usually don’t get same public attention as political functions,but honestly,these are the places where future engineers and local innovation stories come from.

- Global celebration marking 45 years of the Art of Living Foundation in Bengaluru,Karnataka.
- Goa's Statehood Day festivities in Panaji on May 30.
- Inauguration of SIRI Industrial Park in Belthangady,Karnataka on May 31.
And on May 30,Radhakrishnan will be in Panaji for Goa's Statehood Day . For Goa people,this is always more than one official programme because it connects with state identity and its journey after achieving statehood.
There is also mention of visit to CSIR–National Institute of Oceanography,which makes this tour slightly different from normal ceremonial trips . Science,research and collaboration getting space in such schedule is always good to see,tbh.
But May 31 seems busiest. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to visit Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple first,then inaugurate SIRI Industrial Park in Belthangady,Karnataka . That industrial park is expected to support economic growth and job creation in area,so locals will be watching what actually comes after inauguration only.
Later same day,he will travel to Kerala for 140th Foundation Anniversary celebrations of Deepika Malayalam Daily in Kottayam . Media history and Malayalam public life are closely connected,so this stop also has cultural weight beyond just one function.
And then there is Kannur visit too,where he will attend private function organized by C. Sadanandan Master , a Member of Parliament . Recently,Radhakrishnan also appointed Raghav Chadha as new Chairman of Committee on Petitions in Rajya Sabha,so his schedule is clearly active on legislative side also .
All said,this tour feels like one of those political-cultural mixes where every stop has different meaning for different people . Official functions on one side,local emotions on other side… and question is what real follow-up comes after all these visits…
