One very heartbreaking accident has come from Mohanpura village in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh,and honestly,this one feels painful because it happened inside home while family was sleeping . Mother Pinky,aged 24,lost her life after acid from can spilled on her and her two small children .
Incident reportedly happened around 4:00 AM on May 29 . A five-litre can kept inside family home for cleaning purpose toppled over and corrosive chemical spilled directly on Pinky and both children.
And this is where whole thing becomes even more disturbing . Family was living in house built on their agricultural land and they used drip irrigation for farming . Acid was reportedly kept for cleaning irrigation lines,which many farming families do use,but keeping such chemical inside living space is not small thing ah.
According to police reports,can fell because of rats moving around at night inside home . That one detail is honestly scary,because something so ordinary like rats knocking over container ended up becoming fatal accident.
Pinky was being taken to hospital but she was pronounced dead on way . Her two children suffered severe burns and were rushed first for treatment,then admitted to burn ward of District Hospital in Barwani.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:

And rn,doctors are monitoring children’s recovery while district administration has promised support to grieving family,especially for medical help . Family rushed to Rajpur Health Centre for treatment immediately after incident,but damage had already become very serious.
Police have started investigation and officials are now expected to check whether proper safety protocols were followed while storing acid . Residents of Mohanpura are also expressing sorrow because this feels like preventable tragedy,not some unavoidable thing.
But at same time,this case leaves very uncomfortable question behind . In so many homes,especially around farms,dangerous chemicals are kept casually because daily work needs them only… but who is making sure they are stored safely before something like this happens again…
