Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made a significant visit to the tribal village of Chuda in Banswara district on May 21, 2026. This initiative forms part of the state government’s Gram Vikas Chaupal program, aimed at directly engaging with villagers to understand their concerns and developmental needs. Following a night Chaupal held the previous day, CM Sharma returned early to walk through the village, interacting with residents and gathering firsthand insights into their public sentiment.
During his visit, CM Sharma reiterated the state government's commitment to realizing the vision of Antyodaya as envisioned by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. He stated, "The government’s first priority is development reaching the last mile," emphasizing that the Gram Vikas Chaupal serves as an effective platform for addressing problems through open dialogue. Notably, the Chief Minister held a Chaupal under a peepal tree where villagers voiced their concerns regarding water supply, infrastructure, and local development.

- Funding for local projects — Approvals were granted for ₹16.20 lakh for a new Maa Bari Centre and ₹20 lakh for a tubewell.

Addressing complaints regarding financial irregularities involving Dr. Girish Bhabhor, Chief Medical Officer of Kushalgarh Block, CM Sharma instructed officials to take immediate action, leading to Dr. Bhabhor being placed on Awaiting Posting Order (APO). The visit concluded with CM Sharma advocating for water conservation and sustainable agricultural practices, stating, "There is no alternative to water. Every drop must be utilized wisely." He called on villagers to make water conservation a mass movement, reinforcing the importance of community participation in development initiatives.
