This is not small thing ah,especially when exam pressure is already heavy and students had to sit again with same tension .
Out of 5,570 candidates registered across 12 centers,4,343 candidates appeared for test . That number itself shows how seriously students are taking medical entrance race, even after all stress and uncertainty around re-exam.
And this was not just one center scene . Re-examination happened across Dakshina Kannada,so students had access to different venues instead of everyone being pushed into one place only.
Highest turnout was seen at St. Aloysius Pre-University College , where 563 out of 720 candidates were present . Clearly, this center saw biggest crowd among all listed venues, and maybe students also felt more comfortable appearing there.
But at same time, lowest attendance was recorded at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 in Mangaluru, where only 180 out of 218 candidates attended . Difference between centers is also interesting because same exam, same district, but response not exactly same everywhere.
Few things standing out from this re-exam:
- 4,343 candidates appeared out of 5,570 registered candidates.
- 12 centers were used across Dakshina Kannada .
- St. Aloysius Pre-University College had highest turnout with 563 out of 720 candidates present .
And tbh,NEET is already one of those exams where students and families carry huge emotional load . One re-examination means another round of travel, revision, nervousness and hope, all packed into one day.
Educational authorities also noted that such events give students another chance to move toward medical education . Fair enough, because for many students, this exam is not just exam,it is whole career plan.
Now results are awaited, and that waiting period is sometimes worse than exam itself . For these 4,343 candidates, one answer key,one score, one rank can change everything… or again leave them stuck with more questions…
