One disturbing case from Andhra side is now getting more attention, and honestly,it is not small thing ah when custodial death allegation comes up . Gade Sai Krishna, aged 25,died under circumstances now being investigated, and public anger around this is clearly rising .
Investigation into alleged custodial death of Gade Sai Krishna commenced on June 21,2026,with Special Investigation Team (SIT) leading it under guidance of IGP M. Ravi Prakash . Team visited both task force office and Krishnalanka police station to collect evidence about what exactly happened before Sai Krishna's death .
And main suspicion here is custodial torture . That one allegation itself changes entire mood of case, because when person dies after police custody questions, people naturally ask who had control, who was present, and why this happened .
At same time,NTR Commissionerate Police also started their own inquiry into allegations of illegal detention and evidence tampering . So now there are two tracks of investigation, and that shows how serious pressure has become from public side also .
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Special Investigation Team (SIT) began probe on June 21,2026 under IGP M. Ravi Prakash.
- Circle Inspector,S.S.V.V. Nagaraju, has been missing since his suspension .
- Sai Krishna's family is demanding immediate action and transparent investigation.
But most worrying part rn is about Circle Inspector,S.S.V.V. Nagaraju . Reports say he has been missing since suspension, and that has created fear among residents that he may evade justice or even threaten witnesses .
Public protests are also intensifying . Residents have gathered demanding arrest of Nagaraju, and Sai Krishna's family is urging authorities to act fast because delay in such cases only creates more doubt and pain.
Political leaders have also stepped in,with local leaders from YSRCP and CPI expressing solidarity with victim's family and demanding accountability . Emotions reportedly ran high when CPM State Secretary V. Srinivasa Rao visited grieving family to offer condolences .
And this is bigger than one case also . Activists and human rights organizations are watching situation closely, because custodial violence in India is not new topic and every such death again opens same painful question about police power, transparency and fear inside system.
For Sai Krishna's family, all these inquiries and visits will mean something only if truth actually comes out . Otherwise again people will be left asking same thing… who protects common person when protectors themselves are under question…
