Chief Minister has officially directed the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the reported irregularities in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examinations. This move aims to restore the faith of thousands of aspirants who have been protesting against the alleged lack of transparency in the recruitment process.
The decision comes in the wake of a series of protests that turned aggressive. A group of agitators reportedly blackened the face of the MPSC Secretary during a demonstration. This incident led to the immediate arrest of three individuals by the local police.
