Key Takeaways

  • EaseMyTrip reports ₹15.4 crore loss in Q4 FY26
  • Revenue from operations rises to ₹151.9 crore
  • Hotels and holiday packages revenue surges by 148%

Company has reported consolidated net loss of ₹15.4 crore, and that feels like sharp mood shift when same quarter last year,Q4 FY25,had profit of ₹13.9 crore.

And this is not small swing ah,because even in preceding quarter of FY26,EaseMyTrip had posted profit of ₹3.4 crore . So from profit to loss in just one quarter, investor concern is understandable only.

Revenue from operations did grow 8.9% year-on-year to ₹151.9 crore in January-March quarter,up from ₹139.5 crore a year ago . But sequentially,it was almost flat,just 0.1% higher from ₹151.6 crore in Q3 FY26.

Total income came at ₹166 crore, including other income of ₹14 crore . On paper, that sounds decent, but expenses spoiled whole picture badly.

Few numbers standing out clearly here:

  • Consolidated net loss was ₹15.4 crore in Q4 FY26,against profit of ₹13.9 crore in Q4 FY25.
  • Total expenses jumped 38.6% to ₹153.2 crore,hurting profitability.
  • Full-year loss reached ₹47.5 crore,compared to profit of ₹108.6 crore in FY25.

And tbh, this expenses jump is where problem starts looking more serious . Revenue rising little bit is one thing, but if cost side runs faster than income, profit can disappear very quickly .

For full FY26,EaseMyTrip reported net loss of ₹47.5 crore, against profit of ₹108.6 crore in FY25 . Revenue from operations for year also declined 8.8%,falling to ₹535.7 crore from ₹587.3 crore in previous financial year.

EBITDA,that is Earnings Before Interest,Taxes,Depreciation, and Amortization, took big hit too . It fell by over 85.8% year-on-year to ₹22.9 crore, and EBITDA margin narrowed to 4% from 26.7% in FY25 . That margin fall is honestly quite telling.

Air ticketing still remains biggest revenue contributor for EaseMyTrip, but even there, revenue dropped 14.7% to ₹80 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹93.9 crore in same quarter last year . So core business is not exactly giving comfort rn.

But hotels and holiday packages segment gave one positive surprise, revenue soared nearly 148% to ₹57.8 crore in Q4 FY26,compared to ₹23.3 crore in corresponding quarter of FY25 . At same time, revenue from other services declined 36.9% to ₹14.1 crore from ₹22.3 crore,so picture is mixed and slightly messy.

And now big question is whether EaseMyTrip can control expenses while keeping this hotels and holiday packages growth alive, because if air ticketing keeps slipping and costs stay high, then pressure may not go away so easily…
