Celina Jaitly’s personal life has now entered another messy legal zone, and honestly, this one feels very sensitive because children are right in middle of it . Her estranged husband Peter Haag and his father,Dr . Wolfgang J . Haag have issued legal notices against her amid ongoing custody battle in Austria.
And their main claim is that Celina has made public statements and social media posts containing unverified and damaging allegations against them . According to notices, this kind of publicity is affecting their three minor children, which is not small thing ah.
The Haag family is basically saying matrimonial and custody matters involving minors should not become media trial . They have asked for halt to public discussion around sensitive family issues, especially when children’s well-being is being dragged into same space .
Few things standing out clearly here:
- Peter Haag and Dr. Wolfgang J. Haag have issued legal notices against Celina Jaitly .
- Notices are linked to ongoing custody battle in Austria and claims of unverified and damaging allegations.
- They have demanded removal of existing content, public clarification and apology from Celina.
And tbh, this is where whole situation becomes uncomfortable . Because one side is talking about privacy of children and stopping defamatory publications, while other side already has serious allegations in picture .
Solicitor Yesha Shah, representing the Haag family, said,“Laws enacted for the protection of women are among most important safeguards in a civilised society.” But she also warned about danger of turning matrimonial disputes into public spectacles, where legal fights start playing out like public drama .
Celina married Peter in 2010,and they have four children together, including twins . Her legal struggles are also linked to her allegations of domestic violence against Peter, filed in November 2025 . So this is not some simple one-sided family disagreement,it has many layers already.
The notices also warn of possible civil and criminal proceedings if demands are ignored . They say existing content considered harmful should be removed, and Celina should give public clarification and apology.
And somewhere in all this, children are left watching adults fight across courts, media and social media . Custody battles are painful anyway, but when every claim becomes public post or headline,it raises one uncomfortable question… who is actually being protected here?
