The Bengaluru City Police demonstrated exceptional efficiency by rescuing a three-year-old child who went missing on May 24. The emergency was reported at 6:02 PM after a travels office representative alerted the Namma 112 helpline. The child had disappeared while traveling with his parents near the office premises, prompting an immediate response from the authorities.
Following the alert, the Hoysala-77 patrol unit, led by ASI Nagraja J and APC Balappa, arrived at the scene. The team, attached to the Upparpet Police Station, initiated an intensive search after gathering descriptions of the toddler. Their coordinated effort resulted in the child being found and safely returned to his family within just 16 minutes.

In another incident on May 22, the police assisted a 86-year-old woman found wandering in a confused state. A citizen contacted Namma 112 at 10:43 PM after noticing her on Jogupalya Road. The Hoysala-28 unit from Halasuru Police Station reached the location in three minutes to provide aid to the senior citizen.
The elderly woman, who identified herself as Lakshmamma, struggled with memory issues and could not provide family details. ASI Divakar and HC Palakshayya H.B. ensured her safety by arranging admission to the Sparsha Destitute Care Home. Officials noted that these actions reflect the department's humanitarian approach toward assisting vulnerable individuals in the city.
