Not just normal law and order issue, but something hitting Pakistan's security, army morale and China angle all together .
Recent coordinated train bombing by Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has only made crisis look bigger . Violence in Balochistan was already rising, but this kind of attack sends very clear message that security situation is slipping badly.
And biggest pressure point here is China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) . China has put huge money and interest into this project, and Beijing now wants proper security guarantees because Chinese personnel and projects keep getting targeted in Balochistan.
When CPEC was first pushed,Pakistan had assured China that security will be handled strongly . But repeated failures have made Beijing nervous, and now even Chinese investments are being looked at again with more caution . For Munir, this is not small pressure ah.
Few things standing out clearly in this whole mess:
- China is increasing pressure on Pakistan for security guarantees around CPEC investments .
- Troop morale issues are rising, with concerns over possible desertions inside ranks.
- Munir is being accused of shifting focus toward India instead of fixing core security gaps .
And tbh, this India angle feels like classic diversion attempt . In his recent address at western frontier,Munir focused on criticizing New Delhi instead of talking directly about troop morale or actual gaps exposed by BLA and other militant groups.
That is where discomfort starts . If soldiers on ground are already demoralized and unsure, then speeches blaming India may not really help them face attacks in Balochistan . Reports suggest many inside ranks are not feeling prepared for what is coming.
Munir has also reportedly deployed additional troops and worked with groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) to counter BLA . But even after these moves, results do not seem to be matching pressure on ground, and situation appears more tense only.
Observers are saying administration is almost in panic mode because fear of mass desertions is now being discussed . That itself shows how deep dissatisfaction may be running inside system.
And this is why Balochistan crisis is not just about one province anymore . It is tied to Pakistan's internal security,China's investments,CPEC future and army's own confidence… so question is,how long can blame games cover cracks on ground…
