So MPL T20 Scindia Cup 2026 is almost here,and Rewa Jaguars have finally announced their squad . Looks like they are putting a lot of faith in some young players this season.
The whole thing kicks off on June 3 at Holkar Stadium in Indore . And all eyes are on this promising young batter Akshat Raghuwanshi,everyone is expecting him to do something big.
Alok Birla,who is representative for Rewa Jaguars,sounded pretty happy with the team selection . He said,"We are happy with young talented players and the balance we have in squad,with a good mix of experienced players and exciting hungry cricketers."
And honestly,this is kind of balance every team needs ah. Not just old names,but new hungry players also .
Their first match is set against the Bundelkhand Bulls on June 6,so that will be first big test for them .
But this year the MPL itself has become much bigger . Now there are ten men's teams and five women's franchises,which is a really good step. Three new teams are joining: Malwa Stallions,Ujjain Falcons,and Royal Nimar Eagles . They'll be up against established teams like defending champs Bhopal Leopards and others like Chambal Ghariyals and Gwalior Cheetahs .

- Expanded competition — 10 men's and 5 women's teams participating
- Key players — Young talents like Akshat Raghuwanshi leading the charge
Birla also added that "The players are motivated and looking forward to playing positive,fearless,and roaring cricket this season." I really hope they do that only.
This MPL has grown so much and has become a real platform for players in Madhya Pradesh to show what they have against good competition . It's not a small thing.
With this mix of youth and experience,the Jaguars are definitely aiming to make a strong statement this time .
The hype is building up for sure . But all these statements about "roaring cricket" sound good in press releases . Now we have to see if the team actually delivers on the field…
