One very disturbing case has now come out from Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan where a government school teacher has been suspended after allegations that she forced female students to strip. And honestly,the details of this whole situation are deeply unsettling.
Incident took place at Government Senior Secondary School in Livali village. According to reports,senior Hindi teacher Saraswati Meena allegedly ordered this search after she discovered ₹1,000 was missing from her belongings. Students of Classes 9 and 11 were reportedly targeted during this.
These students later went home and told their families what had happened. And that is when everything exploded publicly.
Parents and villagers were immediately outraged after hearing about incident . Large group of protesters gathered and locked main gates of school on Wednesday,demanding immediate accountability for what the teacher allegedly did. Not small thing at all — these were children.
Few key things that came out from this case:
- Saraswati Meena was suspended under Rule 13 of Rajasthan Civil Services Rules following the allegations .
- Principal Manoj Kumar Meena is under inquiry for failing to report matter to senior authorities.
- Accused teacher's headquarters has been shifted to Rajakhera in Dholpur district.
Chief Block Education Officer Pratibha Meena visited school campus and recorded statements from affected students. Joint Director Dalveer Singh has confirmed that formal departmental inquiry is now underway.
Now here is where things get even more uncomfortable.
Saraswati Meena has denied the stripping allegations completely,calling them "baseless." She admitted to questioning girls about missing ₹1,000 but claimed that as female educator she only felt it appropriate to speak with them about theft . Meanwhile officials have noted that some staff members allegedly pressured children to stay quiet about whole incident.
And then Principal Manoj Kumar Meena tried to explain his delay in reporting by saying teacher had already apologized to students and given written assurance against future misconduct. As if that was supposed to make everything acceptable somehow…
This is what makes situation feel worse. Children reportedly experienced something traumatic inside a place that is supposed to be safe for them . And rather than adults immediately standing up for those students,there were apparently attempts to bury whole thing quietly.
At same time,when communities feel institutions are protecting wrongdoers over children,that loss of trust is not easy to rebuild . Parents locking school gates is not just anger in that moment — it is saying we do not feel our children are protected here.
Inquiry is ongoing and official statements are still coming out. But question that stays unresolved is whether departmental processes alone will actually bring any real sense of accountability to students and families who say they were left completely unheard from very beginning…
