Rahul Gandhi has expressed deep concern over the tragic deaths of 30 tribal children in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. He attributed the fatalities to a severe lack of clean drinking water, nutrition, and timely medical intervention. Calling it a systemic failure, the Congress leader demanded that the Chief Minister personally intervene, order a thorough investigation, and provide immediate relief to the affected families in the rural district.
In his post on X, Rahul Gandhi wrote: "बालाघाट, मध्य प्रदेश में 30 आदिवासी बच्चों की मृत्यु की खबर बेहद चिंताजनक और पीड़ादायक है। इस घातक बीमारी के साथ पीने के पानी, पोषण, और समय पर इलाज जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाओं का अभाव बच्चों की जान ले रहा है। ये सरकार की पूर्ण विफलता है। मुख्यमंत्री स्वयं इसका समाधान करें और क्षेत्र में तत्काल जांच, इलाज और राहत उपलब्ध कराएं। बच्चों की ज़िंदगी से समझौता नहीं हो सकता।"
