BJP MLA and former minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha had gone there on June 21, 2026 for inauguration of Ayushman Arogya Mandir Community Health Centre, but event turned into full chaos.
Villagers were not in mood to quietly listen to speeches. As Sakhlecha tried to address gathering, people started raising loud slogans and confronting him over condition of main road leading to new health centre.
And their point was simple only. What is use of health centre if patients cannot even reach there properly during monsoon? Road reportedly becomes muddy and difficult to navigate, which is not small thing ah when someone is sick or needs urgent care.
But situation got worse after Sakhlecha asked crowd to listen to him and even suggested they should “shut up” if they chose not to vote for him . That remark clearly did not calm anyone down. It made villagers even more angry.
Few things standing out clearly in this whole scene:
- Villagers confronted Om Prakash Sakhlecha over dilapidated road to Ayushman Arogya Mandir Community Health Centre.
- Sakhlecha’s “shut up” remark escalated tensions badly .
- Scuffles broke out between villagers and security before he left early.
After that, things became more chaotic at venue. Villagers reportedly surrounded Sakhlecha’s vehicle and blocked its exit. Security personnel tried to clear way,but confrontation started and whole inauguration got overshadowed by anger .
Eventually, after persuasion from bystanders,Sakhlecha was able to leave location. But message from villagers was pretty clear — they are upset with local neglect and not ready to clap for new building when access road itself is in bad shape.
Attempts to reach Sakhlecha for comments on incident were unsuccessful. And tbh, this part also says something about gap between elected officials and people on ground.
At end, this is not just about one angry crowd or one bad remark. It is about rural healthcare, roads, monsoon problems and people feeling unheard again and again . If health centre is ready but road is still failing, then what exactly are villagers supposed to celebrate…
