Beginning on Wednesday, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will introduce a direct bus service that connects Dadar with the Navi Mumbai International Airport via the Atal Setu. This initiative aims to provide a seamless travel experience for passengers, employees, and students, eliminating the need for transfers between different modes of transport.
In addition to the Dadar route, MSRTC is also set to launch additional services from Borivali in Mumbai and Swargate in Pune. These new routes are designed to enhance connectivity and make travel to the airport more accessible for commuters across the region.
- Direct service from Dadar — Passengers can travel directly to Navi Mumbai Airport without transfers.
- Additional routes planned — Services will also start from Borivali and Swargate.
- Minister's inauguration — The service will be inaugurated by Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik.
The introduction of these direct bus services is expected to significantly benefit travelers, especially those who frequently commute to the airport. By reducing travel time and simplifying the journey, MSRTC aims to make air travel more convenient for everyone. The fares and specific timings for these services will be announced shortly, providing further clarity for potential passengers.
This development aligns with the state government's broader objectives of improving public transport infrastructure and enhancing connectivity within Maharashtra. By facilitating easier access to the airport, MSRTC is not only catering to the needs of passengers but also contributing to the growth of the aviation sector in the region.
