One very disturbing video has come out from private school in Partur,Jalna district and honestly,it has set off massive outrage across social media within very short time.
The clip apparently shows students performing dance to song called 'Sar Tan Se Juda' while holding fake swords during annual school event . And moment this video spread online, public reaction turned extremely angry .
BJP leader Kirit Somaiya then visited school alongside police officials to look into matter personally . What he found during inspection made situation even more complicated.
Somaiya declared that school itself is operating on government land without necessary approvals from education department . He stated the entire structure is illegal and openly demanded its demolition . So this is no longer just about one controversial performance — it has become question about school's very existence and legitimacy.
Police have already moved on this matter and charges have been filed . Three people are reportedly facing legal action right now.
Few things standing out clearly from this whole incident:
- Police have filed charges against school president,a teacher, and event coordinator .
- Kirit Somaiya claims school lacks official recognition from education department and operates on government land illegally.
- Song 'Sar Tan Se Juda' was originally penned by Pakistani poet and its use in school event has drawn serious criticism from multiple quarters .
Somaiya was very direct during his media interactions — he said such performances, particularly ones that appear to support foreign ideologies or extremist sentiments, will simply not be tolerated in Maharashtra . Strong words, and clearly meant to send message beyond just this one school .
He also raised questions about opposition leaders like Uddhav Thackeray and Rahul Gandhi, openly questioning their silence over this incident . Somaiya insisted it is completely unacceptable for opposition parties to stay passive when issues like these surface . BJP's position,as stated by him,is that they will take strong stance against any form of support for extremist ideologies linked to Bangladesh and Pakistan.
And this is where things become genuinely uncomfortable for many people . Children performed this at school event . Which means adults — teachers, coordinators, school management — all approved this at some level . That part is honestly difficult to ignore.
At same time, bigger question is sitting there without clear answer . How does school operating without proper approvals even function openly on government land for so long . Where was oversight all this time .
Investigation is continuing and authorities are pushing for swift action . But whether accountability actually reaches everyone responsible,or stops at three people already charged… that part is still very much open.
